What is the Naloxone Project?

The Naloxone Project, initiated by Lifeguarding Austin, LLC, aims to combat opioid overdoses by providing free NARCAN (naloxone) to the homeless and other affected communities. The project not only distributes NARCAN for free but also offers short training classes on how to administer it, utilizing highly trained Red Cross Certified instructors. Additionally, Lifeguarding Austin collaborates with local churches and community organizations to maximize the impact of NARCAN distribution and ensure it reaches those in need.

We are projected to provide more than 1,000 doses of NARCAN and conduct over 1,000 training classes, significantly expanding our reach and effectiveness in saving lives. To continue this vital work and enhance our outreach, we invite you to support the Naloxone Project through donations. Your contributions will help us provide more NARCAN, training sessions, and resources to save lives in our community. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against the opioid crisis. Thank you for your generosity!
